Moong Dal Methi Ki Sabzi (Recipe in Hindi)

  • To make Moong Dal Methi vegetable, first heat oil in a pan
  • Add cumin seeds and let it cook for 10 seconds
  • After 10 seconds, add green chillies, asafoetida and let it cook for a few seconds, now add onions and cook till the onions become soft
  • After the onion becomes soft, add ginger, tomatoes and let it cook for 2 minutes
  • Now add moong dal, turmeric powder, coriander powder and cook for 1 minute
  • Now add 1/2 cup of water, salt and mix it all
  • Cover the pan and let it cook for 7 to 8 minutes
  • Add the fenugreek and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes
  • Serve hot
  • Serve fenugreek moong dal with Rajasthani kadhi and phulka for dinner
