Moong Dal Methi Ki Sabzi (Recipe in Hindi)

Ingredients:
- tomato
- turmeric powder
- ginger
- fenugreek
- cumin powder
- asafoetida
- water
- onion
- oil
- coriander powder
- green moong dal
- green chillies
- cumin seeds
Instructions:
- To make Moong Dal Methi vegetable, first heat oil in a pan
- Add cumin seeds and let it cook for 10 seconds
- After 10 seconds, add green chillies, asafoetida and let it cook for a few seconds, now add onions and cook till the onions become soft
- After the onion becomes soft, add ginger, tomatoes and let it cook for 2 minutes
- Now add moong dal, turmeric powder, coriander powder and cook for 1 minute
- Now add 1/2 cup of water, salt and mix it all
- Cover the pan and let it cook for 7 to 8 minutes
- Add the fenugreek and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes
- Serve hot
- Serve fenugreek moong dal with Rajasthani kadhi and phulka for dinner
