Apple Burfi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • cashew nuts
  • ghee
  • coconut
  • apples
  • milk
  • raisins
  • cardamom powder (elaichi)
  • condensed milk
  • canned cherries

Instructions:

  • To begin making Apple Burfi Recipe, scrape coconut and churn it into a fine paste without adding any water in a mixer grinder
  • Keep aside
  • Peel and chop apples
  • In a mixing bowl, mix chopped apples, coconut paste ,condensed milk, chopped nuts, raisins and milk
  • Mix well
  • Heat ghee in a pan
  • Add this apple mixture and stir well
  • When the moisture dries up, colour changes to brown and leaves the sides of the pan,add cardamom powder
  • Give it a nice mix
  • Cook for few seconds and switch off the flame
  • Grease a dish with ghee and pour the mixture on it
  • Let it cool
  • Keep it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
  • Garnish with chopped nuts, raisins and cherries
  • Run a knife around the edges, cut it in the shape of barfi and serve
